After several leaks and teasers, the Oppo Reno 7 series has finally been launched in India. As expected, the company has introduced two models in the lineup namely OPPO Reno7 5G and OPPO Reno7 Pro 5G. The former is a completely new device while the latter remains the same as the model available in China.
OPPO Reno7 5G, OPPO Reno7 Pro 5G Price and Availability in India
The OPPO Reno7 series will retail in India at the following price tags.
* Oppo Reno7 5G (8GB + 256GB) - ₹28,999
* OPPO Reno7 Pro 5G (12GB + 256GB) - ₹39,999
The sale of OPPO Reno7 Pro 5G will first start on February 8, followed by the sale of OPPO Reno7 5G on February 17.
Both the smartphones can be purchased from Flipkart as well as offline stores across the country. Customers can also avail of bank offers to further reduce the price.
OPPO Reno7 5G Specifications and Features
The OPPO Reno7 5G is built with a 6.4-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate and an in-screen fingerprint sensor. It is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 900 SoC paired with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage.
The phone packs a triple camera setup at the back which includes a 64MP primary sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide unit, and a 2MP macro snapper. On the front, it nests a 32MP selfie shooter inside the punch-hole in the top left corner.
The device flaunts the trademark 'Reno Glo' design, however, it lacks the flat frame found on its predecessor OPPO Reno6 5G as well as the bigger brother OPPO Reno7 Pro 5G. It measures 7.81mm in thickness, weighs 173g, and comes in two colors (Startrails Blue, Starlight Black).
Lastly, the handset runs ColorOS 12 based on Android 11 and it draws power from a 4,500mAh battery, which supports 65W SuperVOOC fast charging.
OPPO Reno7 Pro 5G Specifications and Features
The OPPO Reno7 Pro 5G also sports the 'Reno Glo' design. But it not only has a flat metal frame but also an 'orbit breathing lig' around the rear camera island for notifications.
For photography and videography, the handset comes with a triple camera system at the back and a 32MP Sony IMX709 selfie camera at the front. The rear setup includes a 50MP Sony IMX766 primary sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide shooter, a 2MP macro snapper, and a color temperature sensor.
Despite measuring only 7.45mm in thickness, the smartphone packs a 4,500mAh battery with support for 65W SuperVOOC fast charging. It weighs 180g and is available in two colors (Startrails Blue, Starlight Black).
Last but not least, it runs Android 11-based ColorOS 12.
