The smart carmaker is currently setting up its first store in Sweden and photos of the store have been leaked online. As for the location, the Experience Center is located in Scandinavia's Westfield Mall.

The growth is in line with the company's plan for overseas operations. A few weeks back, XPENG Motors had revealed that it plans to enter more European markets in the year 2022 to boost its exports.

The company had earlier announced that the Xpeng Experience Center in Sweden would open in the first quarter of 2022 i.e. between January and March. Based on that timeline, we expect the store to open its doors in the coming weeks.

The company's Nordic region manager, Elvis Cheng, claimed that Westfield Mall in Scandinavia is the best place in the country to reach many people. The company will provide test drives of its models at the location.

The company's co-founder, president, and CEO He Xiaopeng has said that apart from Sweden, the company also plans to enter two more European markets this year - Denmark and the Netherlands. It will also make efforts to expand its presence in Norway.

XPENG Motors is currently manufacturing its EVs in Zhaoqing, China, and is in the process of setting up new factories in Guangzhou and Wuhan. Once these new units are commissioned, the company's production capacity will exceed 400,000 units. With double-shift, it has the potential to roll out 600,000 electric cars annually.
